David, I was once your neighbour in Marylebone with my partner Sally and I shall always remember your support for my trek to Everest Base Camp, completed in 2011. Your donation at the time came with the message that it was probably the most important thing I would do in my lifetime (as it was to honour my late Father and raise funds for the hospice where he died) and you were right. I just want to say how full of admiration I am for your extraordinary courage and selflessness in this wonderful and life affirming endeavour to help others with this dreadful disease. Love, Charlotte
